Meet Our Staff

Pastor Will Clark is originally from Millbrook, AL. He, Colleen, his wife of 41 years, and two daughters have lived in the Jacksonville area since 1997.
Senior Chief Clark retired from active duty in 2003 after serving 21 years as a Navy communicator.
- Joined Navy in 1982 (right out of HS).
- Bootcamp and initial schooling in San Diego CA
- First Command was a Master Communications Station on the Island of Guam (83-84).
- First ship was the Battleship USS NEW JERSEY BB62 (World's only Battleship at that time) (84-86)
- Served duty stations in Great Lakes, Il, Virginia Beach VA, Meridian MS, Yokosuka Japan, Bath ME, and Mayport FL.
- Multiple deployments to the Mediterranean Sea.
- Last two Duty Stations were in Mayport, FL. (1997-2003) where he served on his last ship, USS SPRUANCE DD963, and Fleet Technical Support Group before retiring (FEB ’03)
Warfare designators earned: Enlisted Surface Warfare, Enlisted Aviation Warfare, and Master Training Specialist.
During his military career, Senior Chief Clark completed a wide variety of Advanced schooling related to the Communications and Information Systems fields.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix.
After retiring from the Navy in 2003, Senior Chief Clark became Pastor Clark as he answered the call to ministry, serving in the United Methodist Church.
Pastor Clark completed his seminary education through Duke Divinity School.
He also earned a Master of Science degree in Contextual Ministry from Northwind Seminary.
Pastor Clark has served as Associate Pastor at Orange Park UMC, Senior Pastor at First UMC Williston, FL, and Senior Pastor at Isle of Faith UMC, Jacksonville, FL, where he has served for the last 10 years.
Pastor Clark has said that he strives to preach with authenticity and a focus on understanding what the Bible teaches through context and for life application.
He loves teaching Bible Studies and is a Tour Host with Educational Opportunities travel group. He has led multiple journeys to the Holy Land and Greece and looks forward to other travel opportunities. He has organized Upward Sports programs at the local church and has held various leadership roles at both the Annual Conference and District levels within the FLUMC, including 12 years as Chairperson of the Conference Fellowship of Associate Members and Licensed Local Pastors.
Pastor Clark states that just as Jesus desires a relationship with us and modeled how relationships should look, he, along with all Christians, should seek Godly relationships with one another. The church is where we learn how to best do this and where we actively build relationships with our communities.
